RENO, NEVADA
Winter in the Reno/Tahoe area includes great rates on Sky Passes, Snow-fests, and many winter competition events.
April brings the celebration of Spring and the beginning of the Reno Aces Professional Baseball team. The Reno Jazz Festival is also in April, and the Carson City Chili Cookoff starts the first sign of fair weather events in the area.
May starts the busy summer months with the Reno River Festival. Almost every weekend in the summer provides some type of celebration, including Street Vibrations, Tour de Nez Bicycle Race, Reno Rodeo, Native American Pow Wow, Barbeque Blues and Brews, Hot Air Balloon Race, Reno Air Races, and Sparks BBQ Festival, to name a few. Artown runs the entire month of July, and showcases a large variety of entertainment, art, and events.
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
So many casinos, so much entertainment. World class performers, and theme-based hotels, make Las Vegas a great place for the whole family.
Check out the shows, and the performances, including the water show at the Bellagio, the Pirate Ships at Treasure Island, and the incredible amount of “flash” at the casinos on the strip and downtown. Best spot to find out what’s happening in Las Vegas:
